The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular, retention periods – remain unaffected.

3. Data collection and purpose of processing

Hosting by Wix: This website is created using the Wix.com website builder. Wix automatically collects information in server log files (e.g., IP address, browser type) to ensure the technical security and proper display of the site.
Contact requests: If you contact me via email or contact form, I will store your information (name, email, message text) in order to process your request, create offers or handle orders.
Customer photos & references: If you send me photos (e.g., of knives for restoration), I will use them exclusively for processing your order. Publication in my portfolio will only occur with your explicit consent.

4. Storage duration

Inquiries: I delete data from inquiries as soon as your request has been resolved, provided no order is placed.
Orders: If a contract is concluded (e.g. knife purchase), I will store your data in accordance with the statutory retention periods (generally 10 years for tax purposes).
Server data: Log files at Wix are automatically deleted after a short time (usually 7–30 days) according to their security standards.
