True craftsmanship shows in the perfection of detail. My name is Fabian Weberbauer, and in my workshop in Reichenberg I make knives for people who look for something special.
My path to becoming a knifemaker is shaped by deep respect for the craft. As a master of foundry technology and a master of event technology, I have a deep understanding of the soul of steel and the aesthetics of staging. Even though my daily work at a German statutory accident insurance association (Berufsgenossenschaft) is guided by safety and structure, I can't let go of the "hot iron". In the workshop I find the freedom to be creative with my hands.
Here it is craftsmanship instead of the assembly line. I take the time for real handwork: grinding is almost meditation for me, and the result is a tool in perfection.
A knife from PAPA KNIVES is a statement of permanence. From the first design to the final grind, every step is exclusively in my hands. I invite you to experience the luxury of directness: no anonymous distribution, but a direct connection between the knifemaker and the connoisseur.

Craftsmanship is an often overused term today. Here at PAPA KNIVES, in the heart of Lower Franconia, it is a promise: there is no separation between workshop and table, between craftsman and connoisseur.
Every knife that leaves my forge near Würzburg has my full attention. From the first hammer blow to the last grind, the responsibility lies solely in my hands. That is why I hand over my work exclusively directly, from me to you.
I deliberately do without middlemen, because I want to know whose hands a piece of PAPA KNIVES goes into. It is important to me to tell you the story behind the blade in person, from the character of the steel to the feel of the handle. A true collector's piece only gains its real value through knowing how it was made.
